Where do I find the headers?
In Gmail choose ⋮ → Show original. In Outlook choose File → Properties and copy Internet headers. You can also drop an .eml or .msg file.
Does it check SPF, DKIM and DMARC itself?
No. It reads the results your mail provider wrote into the headers. Verifying them again needs DNS lookups, which would send data off your device.
Can headers be forged?
Lines added by the sender or by early servers can be. The ones added by your own mail provider, at the top, are the ones to trust.
Is my email uploaded?
No. The headers are parsed in your browser.
